Structured Counselling Session
Single Session Therapy gives you space to focus on one specific issue, concern, or decision in a single, structured session. It can be helpful if you want support with something particular but are not ready or able to commit to ongoing therapy.
A single session can help you talk things through, make sense of your feelings, and explore possible ways forward. It is not about solving everything at once, but about gaining clarity, feeling heard, and better understanding your situation.
It may help with anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life changes, difficult decisions, overwhelming emotions, or feeling stuck. It can also be a useful introduction to therapy before deciding whether longer-term counselling is right for you.
The session is calm, supportive, and non-judgemental. We begin by identifying what feels most important to focus on, then explore your thoughts, feelings, needs, and hopes at a pace that fits in with the time we have available in the session.
By the end of the session, you will leave with greater clarity, renewed confidence, and a clearer sense of the next steps you can take.
The single session will last up to 90 minutes. At the end of the session, we will arrange a follow-up telephone call for around 6–8 weeks later to see how things are going. This 15-minute telephone follow-up is included in the session fee.
